Privacy and cookie policy
Effective
This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit stelladock.com, join the StellaDock waitlist or email us, why, on what legal basis and what you can do about it. If anything is unclear, write to us.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your data is Local ORBIT Media LLC («Local ØRBIT Media», «we» or «us»), a Texas limited liability company in the United States (D-U-N-S 956663541). StellaDock is a Local ØRBIT Media product.
For any privacy matter, email us at hello@localorbitmedia.com.
2. What this policy covers
This website (stelladock.com, in Spanish and English) and the StellaDock beta waitlist, which you join with the form on this site or by emailing us.
The StellaDock app (app.stelladock.com) is not open yet. When it opens, it will have its own privacy policy and its own pilot terms, which you will see before using it.
3. What data we process
- What you enter in the waitlist form: your name, your work email, your company or agency, your team size and the language you prefer us to write in and, if you tell us, what AI you use today and the plan you are interested in. We also keep the date and time you gave your consent, the version of this policy you accepted, which button on the site took you to the form and, if you arrived from a campaign link, its utm tags.
- What you write to us by email: your email address, your name if you include it, the subject line and whatever you tell us.
- Technical data about your visit. As with any website, the server receives your IP address, your browser and the page you request. Our hosting provider uses them to serve the page and protect it from abuse. When you send the form, we use your IP address for a few minutes to limit automated submissions; we do not store it with your request.
- Analytics and marketing cookies, only if you accept them. With your permission, Google Analytics measures how the site is used and the Meta Pixel measures whether our ads bring visits. Details are in the «Cookies» section.
We do not ask you for sensitive data and we do not buy personal data from third parties.
4. Why we use it and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Managing the waitlist and writing to you about the beta | What you enter in the form | Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time |
| Replying to the emails you send us | What you write to us by email | Handling your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Serving and protecting the site | Technical data | Legitimate interest in the site working and being secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Learning which parts of the site get used | Analytics cookies | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22(2) of the Spanish LSSI) |
| Measuring and improving our ads on Meta | Marketing cookies | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22(2) of the Spanish LSSI) |
We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects on you or similarly affect you.
5. Who we share data with
We work with these providers. Each one receives only what it needs for its job:
| Provider | Purpose | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. (USA) | Hosting for the website and our own client management system | Technical data about your visit and the form data, which passes through its servers |
| Supabase Inc. (USA) | Database of our own client management system, where the waitlist is kept | The form data |
| Google (Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC) | Google Analytics 4, only with your consent | Cookie identifier, pages viewed, measured clicks, device data and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address |
| Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and Meta Platforms, Inc.) | Meta Pixel, only with your consent | Cookie identifier, pages viewed, measured clicks and technical browser data |
| Hostinger | The agency's email | The emails you send us |
For the collection and transmission of Pixel data, Meta and we are joint controllers under Meta's joint controller terms. What Meta does with that data afterwards is explained in its own policy.
We will also disclose data to authorities when a law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
We are a US company and several of the providers above process data in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, that is an international transfer. We rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework when the provider participates in it and, otherwise, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission that are part of those providers' data processing agreements.
7. How long we keep it
- Waitlist: until we write to you about the beta opening and, at most, 24 months from when you joined or from our last contact. If you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it sooner, we delete it.
- Emails: while we are in conversation with you and up to 24 months after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you start using StellaDock, the periods in the app's policy will apply.
- Hosting technical data: the short period Vercel sets for its logs.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted automatically.
- Cookies: each one's lifetime, in the table in the «Cookies» section.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months. After that we ask you again.
8. Your rights
At any time, by writing to hello@localorbitmedia.com, you can ask to:
- Access your data and learn how we process it.
- Correct it if it is inaccurate.
- Delete it.
- Object to our processing or ask us to restrict it.
- Receive it in a format you can take to another service (portability).
- Withdraw your consent to the waitlist and leave it. Withdrawing it does not affect processing that already happened.
- Withdraw your cookie consent as easily as you gave it: . Withdrawing it does not affect processing that already happened.
We will reply within one month; if the request is complex, that period can be extended by two more months and we will tell you. We may ask you for some information to confirm it is you.
If you are in the European Union and think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to your data protection authority. In Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
9. If you live in the United States
Depending on the state where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA or Texas under the TDPSA), you may have the right to know what data we hold about you, to access, correct and delete it and get a copy, and to opt out of the sale of personal data, of «sharing» for cross-context behavioral advertising and of targeted advertising.
We do not sell personal data for money. The Meta Pixel, if you accept it, may count as sharing data for targeted advertising. To opt out, click «Reject all» in the banner or turn off «Marketing» in . We also honor your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: with it on, marketing stays off unless you turn it on yourself.
To exercise your rights, email us at hello@localorbitmedia.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising them. You can act through an authorized agent, who will need to prove their authority. If we decline your request, you can ask us to review it by replying to our answer within 60 days; we will respond within another 60 days and explain why. If you still disagree, you can contact your state attorney general (in Texas, the Office of the Attorney General).
11. Children
This site is meant for professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has written to us, let us know and we will delete their data.
12. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, with security headers that limit what can load on the page, and we process as little data as possible. No system is infallible: if an incident affected your data, we would notify you where the law requires it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If the change affects cookies, we will ask you again in the banner. If the change is significant and we have your email, we will write to you.
